School Unique Campus

Conscious Learning Environment

The energy-efficient campus of Arunodaya Public School is designed consciously to create a learning environment, resourcefully to support the growth and development of the children and the staff. Since schools are generally the first example of architecture that a child experiences, hence has a huge impact on the children as they grow up.

The campus will be 100% solar powered and will use no electricity through the grid in the future. The school will deal with its water requirements by recharging its bore wells from the rain water through rain water harvesting technology. Huge windows, open halls and open corridors gives a clear passage to natural light and air thereby reducing the energy consumption and maintaining a clean and healthy environment. By and large, the stylishly arranged aesthetically planned campus maintains the vitality and vibrancy throughout. This amazing building has effectively lifted the moral of the staff, the pupils love it and the community is regular visitors to the site to learn about the new adopted concepts. The temperature of the building will be suitably maintained through its planned heavy landscape and plantation coverage and perfect ventilation to avoid any air-conditioning cooling amid sweltering climates.

Plantation & Landscaping

Studies have found that students perform better in math, reading and standardized tests in certain environments – particularly in learning spaces that feature outdoor views, an abundance of natural light, and greater mobility and movement. To sustain the ecology and teaching the environmental values to our children, the school campus boasts of planting 20 different species of trees across its campus. This helps in both maintaining the ecological balance and add on to the aesthetic value of the campus.

With so many species of trees around, many different species of birds have started flocking the area, uplifting the environment all around the campus. This serenity is a perfect match for the learning to take effect. The school has a dedicated horticulture team consisting of teachers and students to ensure the maintenance and planning year round. The children learn many concepts on plantation, importance and can feel its immediate effect thereby resulting in a far better learning and understanding development.

The school has a uniquely designed protected farming area spread across 4 acres, for the purpose of the study of Agronomy and farming. The school kitchen will use the freshly grown produce to serve the children on a regular basis. The children will benefit by learning about the various ways of farming, automated farming systems, drip irrigation, cultivation and its various uses.
